A unique evolution

I appreciate snail to sheep isn’t a well-studied evolutionary path, but I can explain.

Follow the feeling

I started freelancing as a real sole trader – Joe Clarke.

After a year or so, I got ideas above my station and badged myself up as Snail Studio. Creativity done right, with a focus on the slower things in life.

Then, in 2025, I took my work to its next stage – incorporation. A new legal entity. A corporeal form. My baby!

A new name felt right. I never liked the initials SS for its historic usage and my renewed focus in B2B (finance, especially) felt like it would suit a slightly more serious and cerebral name. I’m still a lazy sod, but I’m leading the flock.

This could be the final form for my business, but who knows in this upside-down Pokémon world. I suppose next could be a parent company? Bellwether Group? Snailwether? Clarke, Snail & Bellwether LLP?
